SALES ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE:

The Account Executive position is designed to support and grow brand sales volume across multiple sales channels. The ideal candidate for this role would have passion for sharing the brand stories as well as generating revenue with confidence and enthusiasm.

Primary Responsibilities:

Expand brand sales reach while nurturing existing account relationships for continued growth.

30% Outbound Sales

  • Work with the brand team to identify opportunity accounts
  • Establish new account aquisition strategy
  • Develop account pipeline & stage gates for closure
  • Execute on strategy with KPI weekly reviews

60% Account Nurturing

  • Sales – Execution of sales orders:
    • Be the key contact for the retail buyer as well as the internal point person to liaison between the brand team and supply chain/ops to get orders processed and fulfilled on time and in full.
      • Once PO’s are received, confirm and process with supply team.
      • Monitor orders to ensure they ship on time and the exact shipment specifications are met.
      • Responsible for line review meetings, buyer samples and relay comments to the branding/ops team on product selection.
    • Communicate with buyers frequently to strengthen the company’s relationship and grow the business with each account.
    • Understands and delivers KPI’s monthly, quarterly, and annually.
    • Builds new product launch sales plans in partnership with the brand team.
    • In-Bound Account inquiry/Client Maintenance:
      • Field and evaluate inbound wholesale inquiries. Close small deals and accounts that meet nugg’s partnership requirements.
      • Support new and legacy accounts with training, gratis, samples/collateral and guidance on growing their business.
    • Organization/Internal Management of Clients:
      • Understands deadlines, follow-ups, paperwork and being confident as the connection to the buying team day to day.
      • At ease with using excel, MS Office
      • Maintain accuracy in sales software/documentation to keep track of leads, outreach, contacts, and attrition (solid experience with excel)

10% Process & Program Improvements

  • Participate in NWNB team efforts to improve sales and/or margin though optimized processes

Skills & Experience Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of sales experience and/or customer service (in Skincare or Beauty industry a strong plus, but not required)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Is able to adjust communication style based on the audience. Is confident, polished, empathetic, and enthusiastic in communication.
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of team when pitching accounts, but also work towards being able to independently and confidently pitch without team guidance.
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with accuracy.
  • Illustrates a dedication to meeting requirements of internal and external customers, responding to all customer requests promptly and thoroughly.
  • Is extremely organized: meets deadlines, prioritizes appropriately, copes well with change, and maintains composure under pressure.

NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT PROJECT MANAGER

Join a dynamic, fast-paced and exciting start-up environment where you will be a key member of the marketing team, project managing the new product development process across multiple brands.

The New Product Development Project Manager will work closely with our Brand and Operations teams to take products from concept to commercialization.

The New Product Development Project Manager will:

  • Work with key stakeholders to execute a consistent project management system for New Product Development, including working with the Brand Teams to meet on-shelf deadlines, consistent branding and execution of product briefs, as well as the Operations Team to ensure vendor timelines and specs are being met
  • Create project plans that outline project goals, key milestones and stage gates and success markers
  • Ensure we deliver all new products on-time and in-full, meaning the project is executed to meet all deadlines within your control and it is on budget
  • Help motivate team members to hit their goals
  • Problem solve when issues arise to minimize budget and timeline impact
  • Participate in financial forecasting exercises identifying timelines for potential returns on new product initiatives
  • Clearly communicate all deliverables and status updates to multiple stakeholders
  • Prepare and present progress reports, reporting out on key deliverables in a timely and consistent manner
  • Maintain product data sheets for each brand

Product Development Project Manager Qualifications:

  • MUST be driven, hard-working, action-oriented & collaborative!
  • 2+ years of experience in project management (timeline and project plan creation)
  • Background in Beauty and/or CPG
  • A self-motivated quick learner – you’ll be working across multiple brands and need to pick up the various products and timelines quickly
  • Incredibly organized, detail-oriented and a very clear communicator
  • Experience using excel, word, PowerPoint and project management systems (HubSpot, Teamwork, Monday.com, etc.)

REGULATORY COMPLIANCE MANAGER, CONTRACTOR:

We are seeking a Part Time Contractor for Regulatory Administration. This individual will support our beloved beauty brands achieve domestic and international regulatory compliance and registrations. The ideal candidate for this role would have the ability and confidence to perform the duties listed below.

Duties & Responsibilities may include but not limited to:

  • Create and review product labels to ensure compliance with current FDA regulations
  • Performs various calculations to substantiate compliant labeling: formula, percent daily values, vitamin & mineral conversions, nutritional claim support
  • Prepare product data in preparation of international Regulatory Registries.
  • Prepare program plan including schedule, cost and key participants
  • Coordinate data between suppliers and market regulatory administrator
  • Coordinate & oversee all necessary third party testing necessary for registration
  • Prepare final Product Information Files (PIF) for registry
  • Prepare product data in preparation of FDA OTC product registration.
  • Prepare program plan including schedule, cost and key participants
  • Coordinate & oversee all necessary third party testing necessary for registration
  • Organize data for FDA review
  • Manage programs to assure the project stays within budget and on schedule
  • Represent current State/Federal policies and regulations
  • Update customer databases or third party systems (WERCS) as needed

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science or Regulatory Affairs
  • 3-5 years of experience within a regulatory environment, with focus on over the counter and cosmetic products
  • Experience with WERCS database a plus
  • Experience with managing programs
